get beat by UF, UGA beats UF, we beat UGA and backdoor our way in to SECCG like in '07? it could happen as soon as we fill the needed positions in our depth chart.

I'll go ahead and preemptively state your standard, go-to insult as it relates to UGA football: "We beat you last year!" Good, now with that out of the way...why do you think Florida will win the east the next 3 years? Because if you look at every little aspect that goes into a successfull football program, Georgia is much better positioned to win the east the next 3 years than UT is.

I got ripped apart on here last week for saying Tennessee wins the SEC within the next 5-6 years...

But I still think it'll happen

In the past three seasons UGA is a combined 9-10 against the SEC EAST. Yes that includes Vanderbilt and Kentucky. Treading downhill is an understatement. I only know the symptoms because I witnessed them first hand myself at Tennessee. UGA is in for a LOOONG decade.

And yet still finished with 2 top 10 finishes and 3 bowl wins. And it's a great thing that games against the west (7-2 over that time span) count just as much as they do against the east.

For some reason, you and about ten thousand other people bury your head in the sand and refuse to acknowledge the major, underlying problem we've had the last few years. Our defensive coaching/fundamentals were atrocious, we had a lousy DC, and there was no discipline. Each of those issues has been rectified, but it's as if it never happened. If our staff remained status quo after last year, I'd be terrified and would agree with you. But it's not, we've upgraded. And even WITH all those faults, we STILL won pretty damn consistently.
