Just officially got my tickets

Only second away game I'll be going to (first being Auburn). Hopefully the swamp doesn't disappoint. Any must-do's in good ole gainesville?

Hit up the "Swamp" across the street if you can...will be packed but on Sunday is not too bad.

Great place but they will run their mouths before hand...if they lose, you will not hear a peep.

try and sit on the first row right behind one of the big orange walls. it puts you front and center. we did that in 04 and an entire corner of the stadium hated us for all the shite-talking we were doing.

I'll repost a bit from one of my earlier discussions with an LSU fan on this board:

"Gainesville is fun, nothing like what I saw in BR [last year], but better than most places. You're pretty much guaranteed to have a good time if you stay on University Ave. Check out Gator City, Salty Dog, Ballz, Grog. They're all right in midtown (across from the stadium).

My favorite bar was Mothers which is about a 15 min walk East from there. If you're feeling adventurous I'd recommend exploring the area north of University, but east of NW 22nd St. They call it the student ghetto and it's where you'll run across many house parties and yard tailgates. We are, for the most part, a fun and loving people so don't be afraid to approach. Just bring your own beer or you'll be looked upon as a leach (you can always fill up your can/bottle at the keg). A pretty universal concept actually."

Also, don't mess with the Gville cops. They can be dicks.

Nothin but respect for opposing fans who make the trek. Have fun.
