Have you guys been staying up to date on all the latest expansion news? Some news station out of St. Louis reported last night that Nebraska, Pitt, and Missouri were on their way to the Big Ten with Rutgers and one other team being a possibility as well. The Pac-10, according to the same source, hopes to bring in Colorado and Utah. If this happens, the Big 12 pretty much ceases to exist.
I would think that, if the above were to happen, the SEC would make a move and go after Texas, Texas A&M, and at least two other schools. Either that or they would have to realign the divisions once those two teams are brought in.

I thought it was the Big East that would fold, but the Big XII would be dead if Nebraska and Missouri left for the Big Tensixteen, and Colorado to the Pac Ten.
Maybe there would be a rebirth of the SWC, with Oklahoma and OSU joining this time.

I have my doubts about the Big XII really getting 5 teams in their conference. What would be the purpose of that? All these rumors and news stories floating around about these possible teams leaving their conferences and crap. I really think the Big 10 will add 1 team.. add a conference championship game and whichever conference that team comes from will just add someone else to replace the departured school.
