Quarterbacks - Meh.. Could be an upgrade, could be a down grade. Cam certainly adds more playmaking ability to the position and Chrissy did terrible aginst SEC teams so we'll see..

Running Backs - Upgrade. Even though we lost the best running back in the state..lol. Fannin, Dyer, and Ayecock will be plenty good. If Fannin can stay healthy he'll certain;y get over 1,000 yards for the season and i can see Dyer being used like Trent Richardson was his freshman season.

Wide Receivers - Upgrade. All recievers returned, nuff said. Darvin, Zachery, Benton, Blake, Q Carr, and not to mention all the freshman coming in. (Trovon Reed, Shaun Kitchens, Antonio Goodwin)

Offensive Line - Upgrade. Four seniors returning and adding a JUCO right tackle should make this line a great one.

Defensive Line - Meh.. Loses Antonio Coleman but adds more depth and gets faster. Nick Fairly is a beast in the middle and Antoine Carter coming off the edge should remind some of Groves and Coleman.

Linebackers - Upgrade. No loses in the linebackers group. Bynes, Stevens, and Eltoro/Evans should be a good core. A bunch of freshman are coming in to add much needed depth.

Secondary - Much improved. Aairon Savage and Mike McNeil return this season. Neiko Thorpe and Demond Washington at corner and T Bell in the nickel. Daren Bates will play a hybrid safety/linebacker role and Zac Etheridge could be back from the neck injury that occured during the Ole Miss game last year.

ST's - Upgrade. Wes Byrum, nuff said. Was perfect on PAT's last year and only missed one field goal. Demond will be returning kicks. The only issue will be punt returner. Hopefully someone can hold on to the ball this year.

Would it be OK if we Arkie fans started an entire thread about how arrogant this is?

QB - Small Upgrade - Todd was not very good, but was experienced
RB - Downgrade - Loss of Tate is a downgrade
WR - Upgrade - More experience and depth
OL - Upgrade - More experience and JUCO help
DL - Small upgrade - More depth
LB - Upgrade - More experience, more depth.
DB - Upgrade - We get some guys back from injury and have more depth
ST - Upgrade. Our kicking teams will have less walkons and a better returner.

Overall, we should have a better, deeper team without a doubt.

Bottom line, we lost very little talent and added significant depth - both in recruiting and additional experience.
