Incidently this has nothing to do with Alabama, but rather Nick Saban's personel notoriety. I am sure you are aware that Saban succeded at a few mid-tier jobs before he created your personal nightmare in Tuscaloosa.
O.K. I can go with that. Payton was a bad comparison. But you agree with me that someone who dominated the NFL is more highly regarded than someone that dominates college football? That's all I was saying. Belichick is treated more like a rock star everywhere he goes. Once Nick gets out of SEC land he's just another college coach.
