BTW, the National Championship drew 17.2 million viewers. The Super Bowl drew 105.97 million viewers. You tell me who is better known nationally.

That's the Nielsen rating. 28 million viewers tuned in to watch the national championship game. Admittedly, a much lower number than the Super Bowl. But one thing I have noticed about the NFL that is different from college. While college broadcast emphasize the coaches more than the players, NFL broadcasts seem to do the exact opposite.

You ask the man on the street who Sean Payton is, they will have no clue most of the time. Ask them who Peyton Manning, Reggie Bush, or Drew Brees is, they will be talking you up for hours.

So you honestly think more people know who Nick Saban is than Sean Payton? Seriously?
