I'm not judging the poster you're talking to, but I know a few people who went to Ole Miss and act like this. My sister and her husband both went there, but act like they need a passport to go back. I never got it.

I am actually FROM THE SOUTH, lived here all of my life and LOVE IT HERE. I also Love my home state of Mississippi and Mississippi State University. After graduation from State I actually give back to my home state by working and owning land and a house, and paying taxes here in Mississippi.
It really burns me up when someone tries to talk down to people who live in the South and people who live in Mississippi. I look at my home state like I look at my family, its far from perfect but I still love it and try to look at all of the positive attributes of it.
