This is what it boils down to: The rebel offense will be successful with some really good RBs and offensive line. The passing game will not ever fully launch as long as Hootie is the coach. It's really fun to watch with the likes of McCluster, McFadden, Jones, or Hillis. Otherwise...


Here's the deal.
Austin, like Malzahn is an offensive genius. Unlike Malzahn, his system is too complicated for SEC football players. Hootie deserves the blame for the Malzahn fiasco, but Kent Austin's offense wasn't going to work without a really intelligent player at QB.
We don't have one of those on staff right now.
This is the SEC.

Austin is having some family issues is a major reason for the move.
