No trashy people in OK. Also, OU desegregated before any SEC school (with the exception of Kentucky).

Sure she had a heck of an accent, her teeth weren't exactly the straightest, and she was poor. BUT, she was a very honest and open person. She was a flowerbud waiting to open, and that is what the judges saw when they heard her voice. Is she 'The Next American Idol?' No. But, she will have an experience of a lifetime.
