He doesn't have to leave Texas for players, not many other schools can say that. Let's face it, Bama is not known for producing QB's, LA has ups and downs at different positions.
It's one of the reasons Muschamp took the job in waiting, he doesn't have to leave Texas to recruit.
Brown was successful at UNC with no real recruiting base and he does hire great assistants which is what you get paid to do.
