Actually Alabama can backcount their three greyshirts enrolling next week. Only 22 enrolled from the 2009 class, this past August. Regardless, I think alot of people are still wondering how the 28 signing limit works. Is 28, just 28, or can you really use greyshirts in this equation? All things being fair, those questions are as legitimate as those posed for Alabama signing 32 in 2008.

I'm with you capstone. This 28 rule is the most confusing thing out there this year.If the conference is going to set a limit then they should set a limit. There are loopholes everywhere with this #.Auburn isn't doing anything wrong but if they can sign 33 with 5 counting to last year then what is the point of the 28 rule. It's not going to matter in the long run because with everyone signing 28 ther will be no room for anyone to backcount in the future. Those 3 extra guys still have to greyshirt and count to next year so it will limit #'s in the future.I'm still trying to figure out how Bama is going to fit this year's whole class in with their very close #'s pertaining to 85.i'm sure it will work out but eventually you guys are going to have a small class.I've heard next year is probably the year with 15-20.You never know with Saban.he gets it done so all's well.
