Anybody with a brain realizes that Strong will get the job.

What are his chances of succeeding? Does he have the clout and charisma to be a big-time SEC college football coach?

Will Strong be able to harness some of the inherant advantages of being the only African American SEC head coach? I was always shocked that Sly Croom was so unsuccessful at pulling in big-time talent as a result of this.

What are the current perceptions of his recruiting ability? Where are his historical ties?

Should be verrry interesting.

I think that's far from a sure thing, but maybe I don't have a brain.

Crooms failures had nothing to do with his race. You are a fool for think as much. Croom was not a good HC coach, and Moo St is a crappy job. Croom talked at Alabama football at Moo St too much.

I never said that Croom's failures had to do with his race.

I said that it was a potentially huge ADVANTAGE that he was unable to take advantage of.

Ah, the ever popular "anyone who disagrees with my opinion is an idiot" tactic. Hope it works.

If I was black I'd want to go play for a black head coach and help him make history.

Even if he were to become UF's HC, which he wont, he likely would not be the only African American head coach in the SEC.

Rich Brooks is probably going to retire after this season, and Joker Phillips was named as his successor a long time ago.
