I actually tend to agree with you since Bama fires anyone they want.

I think it would depend on what he did at Bama. If he came in and ran his mouth and had a mediocre season, then the Bama faithful would be up in arms over him and at least complaining that Mal needs to settle him down. If he came in and went 12-0 and had them in the SECCG then a large portion of the fans would be behind him and defensing him to the same extent, if not moreso than the UT fans are now. I'm not saying all of them would - the old money bigtime boosters might still be head in hands, but the sidewalk "Gumps" would be eating it up because it would be more fuel to the fire of the "everyone is out to get Bama because we are so great" mentality.

I don't think Vandy would put up with him because the image of the school as a whole would take a hit. I would like to think Auburn wouldn't embrace him, especially after the Buster Brown years, and really that type of bravado has never really been an Auburn trait.

Florida would probably revel in it to a degree. USCe, Arky and UK would put up with him if he was bringing in the same type of recruits he is to Knoxville. I honestly think that UGA fans would eat it up because of the way he goes after Meyer and Spurrier.
