He will be back at Bama next season. Stop acting like he is gone.

From an Alabama standpoint, I would love it for him to stay but I think it's a mistake. One that later in life he might regret.

Saban will get a feel for his draft value and discuss it with McClain, book that. If he is a top 10 pick, then he should go. Otherwise, stay.

Crazy to stay at Bama.

His defensive line is going. Those starters did a great job doing what they are supposed to do: keep the O-line off the LB so they can shine.

I know Bama has talent at DL but not experience and not another Cody. That was a true 3-4 NT, especially in the run game.

So, there is a good chance his D-line won't be able to keep the O-line off the LB, especially him. That will take the luster off any LB in a 3-4, no matter how good.

Then there is always the injury bug. Again, with the O-line getting to you more, the higher the chance.

Last, 1st round $$ and the looming NFL rookie salary cap. Teamed with the demand for 3-4 quality LBs (hell, McClain can play 4-3 just as good), it is too much to pass up.

Then again, kids are kids. Playing for Bama one more year, though it might cost him much....

Thanks for all you've done for Bama the last three years! Good luck in the NFL, and...

Continue to be great.
