Sure. I don't think insider knowledge would help with the actual working offense, in concrete terms. They have evolved and changed considerably. I was thinking more in terms of knowing the way someone approaches a game plan, or looks for strengths and weaknesses in an opponent. The ability to get into a coach's head and know how he prepares will have some bearing.
