If McCoy winning the heisman helps BAMA

add to their numerous National Championships.... then I hope McCoy wins it.

Imagine how motivated the BAMA defense and offensive line would be to shove that heisman down Texas' throat.

The best part of it is the time he will have to sacrifice on the Heisman "tour".

If this was one of the 4 BCS sub-bowls, then this might be the case. I would certainly hope that Bama's main motivation would be winning a national title, not showing up a quarterback who has no control over an award.
