I really don't think the University of Alabama has the kind of change lying around that the University of Notre Dame does. That's a bit of a stretch. Notre Dame has been accumulating money via the Catholic Church for the last 2000 years. I don't think Alabama could touch what Notre Dame could dish.

FWIW, Uof A Football generates over 100 mil every year. I am related to an economics prof at U of A and he told me the school has received over 300 mil since Saban's arrival.
