But in 3 weeks you will hear about it from every Hog fan, ESPN, and media out let out there when the Tebow love-fest robs the SEC's best QB of a deserved honor.

Mallett has struggled against every good defense he's faced. If there's consistent pressure, he completes well below 50%. Tebow doesn't have huge numbers, but he hasn't struggled against great defenses. He really only had one bad game, and that was throwing two picks against Miss. State.

And Mallett has a chance to eat them up tomorrow. If he does post superior numbers in the game, is it moot? Also, Tebow's sack total doubled vs. Arkansas. I fully expect that nugget of info to be a "Team" stat and not a "Tebow" stat however. Well...W/L's aren't a Mallett stat knowing our D sucks, right?

See how this works? I can use circular logic within this debate as well.

1) What QB doesn't have less numbers against good defenses?

2) Tebow was pretty bad in the Arkansas game. Arkansas has the 97th ranked defense. Not so much in pass yards (he had one 70+ yard bomb), but in terms of getting sacked 6 times and turning the ball over.

I think we need to compare the teams against similar competition...maybe that can show part of the story?

Actual on-field play doesn't count, only his overall total numbers do.

Still doesn't matter, Mallett has better numbers.
