You just eliminated Brandon Spikes with your odd logic. I cold think of a few more if you like...

Sao, it's the messenger (me) that has led this to 4 pages.

They are not arguing against Mallett having superior numbers, because they can't, but because it's me that's pimping Mallett they will go to the ends of the earth to come up with other reasoning.

The bottom line is if Mallett isn't worthy of 1st team, neither is Eric Berry and numerous other "locks".

It is pure and simple.

Ole Miss fans and SEC in general want TO NOT GIVE it to Mallett, instead of wanting TO GIVE it to Tebow. If you have to pull subjective things that have little to do with the QB position alone (W/L record [win and lose as a team, Florida's top 5 defense really helps Tebow here, although Mallett still has better number], Leadership, etc)

This isnt the All-SEC Leadership award. It is the All-SEC QB Award. And it "should" be given the the QB who has produced the best in league (overall, not just passing). In this case so far, Mallett is owning Tebow in just about every QB category, and even for those who want to bring in rushing TDs and Total Yards...Mallett is still ahead of Tebow right now.

Of course Tebow will probably have more TDs/ Total yards when season is over because of the extra game played.

Arkansas fans just need to be quiet, realizing we have the best QB in the league (in terms of on-field production this year), and we will be glad to have him another year.
