Discuss - no Saban/Bama comments please. Looking for how the process of hiring a new commissioner really works. Who collects the resumes and who does the interviews? Who is the decision maker(s)?

Slive isn't going anywhere so this thread is pointless. However, I believe the ADs vote on the new commish.

I originally thought it was the 12 universities, but the more I think of it, the more it appears that would be a very cumbersome process. I would think they would appoint a small committee to handle the interviews the make a recommendaton, but that is pure speculation.
Was just wondering who Slive's boss actually is. If Rodgers Redding reports to Slive, who does Slive answer to?

The SEC signs historic contracts which will bring in 3 billion dollars over the next 15 years during Slive's run yet he'll be fired for the refs making a few bad calls. Hmmm...
The SEC is a business. College football is a business. The SEC is making more money and has more exposure than at any time in it's history. A few botched calls aren't more important than the dollar.
