The SEC signs historic contracts which will bring in 3 billion dollars over the next 15 years during Slive's run yet he'll be fired for the refs making a few bad calls. Hmmm...

I don't think he's gonna be run out, nor did I say that. What I was trying to get to is

1) Who actually hired Slive?
2) Who is his boss?

This is true. As I posted early in this thread, the replacement is Mark Womack.

i like to see the SEC office be moved out of Bama perhaps to Nashville or Atlanta.

So then I suppose you will accuse the refs of being biased in favor of Tennessee and Georgia? Get OVER it! Not everyone in the state of Alabama is a Tide fan. Was the SEC office not in Birmingham when Roy Kramer was in charge? And he was a UT homer who despised Bama and provided covert support to Fat Phil in his campaign to destroy Bama football.

Wow, do the LSU fans still want Slive to leave. The REC have already put in a replacement. A Bama graduate. (Sorry, but this is just too funny)

[quote]He just got the biggest tv contract with ESPN ever in college football. I would be very skeptical of that rumor

But unbiased observers are smelling a rat in the SEC with the appearance of game fixing! The powers that created the contract might not like the steady decrease in viewership due to the feel of improprioty

Lord Saban will not be naming a Bama grad as the new commish...until he completes His plan to move the SEC offices out of Birmingham to T-Town.
