Peterson is a better cornerback than Arenas. However, Arenas is still one of the elite cornerbacks in the country, and his skill as a defender combined with his kick/punt return ability make him more valuable overall in my opinion.
Also, please realize that while Peterson is better than Arenas, Haden IS also better than Peterson. Not "possibly" better.
