I posted this in another thread -









I live in Tuscaloosa so here is my list of things to do.

1. Bars that I like or hear a lot about
Capone's 4th and 23rd
Wilhagens
Innisfree
The Booth
Rythym and Brews (for the older crowd)
Houndstooth
Jupiter Bar and Grill
Gillettes (for those interested in hanging with the greek crowd)
Legacy

2. Food
City Cafe - Breakfast or Lunch, can't go wrong with either.
Dreamland -original only (the new one sucks arse more than the original, but at least you can see cool stuff at the original)
Bama Smokehouse - down hwy 69 south
Hooters
Outback Steakhouse
Chuck's Fish
The Waysider
Jalapenos
Hicks BBQ
Archibalds BBQ - orignial in northport
Archibalds and Woodrows BBQ
The Front Porch - similar to City Cafe (meat and 3)
Mr. Bills Country Cooking (again, similar to City Cafe)
Kobe - japanese steakhouse
Five Guys Burgers and Fries
Taco Casa
Nicks in the Sticks
Wyntzels - good seafood
Hokiaiddo good japnese steakhouse
Surin - on the strip (tai food)
Cypress Inn
Depalmas
Santa Fe Cattle Co.
Buddy's Rib and Steak - Northport area
Bob Baumhower's Wings Sports Grill
Epiphany

3. Entertainment
Bars - note #1
Bama Belle boat ride
Paul W. Bryant Museum
Westervelt Warner Museum of American Art
Lake Tuscaloosa
Black Warrior River
Lake Lurleen - hiking, camping, fishing
Lake Nichol - cliffs if you wanna go cliff jumping, fishing, hiking
Lake Harris - small lake for fishing
Cobb 16 movie theatre
In process of building an ampitheatre by the river so that will be nice
Historic land marks - for the history buffs
Woods-n-Water - lots of hunting apparels, guns, regualar clothing, home decor, and also tons of animals to look at(taxidermy), and a fish tank with Bass (feedings on Thursday)
Academy Sports+Outdoors
Midtown Shopping Center - (Best Buy opened last week)
University Mall
Snow Hinton Park - soccer, football, frisbee, walking, whatever you wanna do outside sports wise
Rec Center Fields - for same as above
