I was unable to see the game ... what happened? All I've read about was the "gouging" of a UGA player's eyes by a UF player (saw the video and it did look bad) and read about a UGA player gator chomping the UF bench.
What else happened?

Well, if you believe the Florida message boards, the Georgia players ripped off Spikes' helmet and punched him in the jaw. They also intentionally gouged Tebow in the eye and taunted Spikes until he had to jab his fingers into a Georgia player's retinas out of self defense.
Some of the Georgia players may have been carrying firearms as well.
The usual stuff.
