In terms of stability:

1. Alabama is definitely not going anywhere but up for an unforeseeable amount of time in the distance... 3 years, 5 years etc... STABLE. If Saban is at the helm, things will be fine. And there is no reason to believe he'll go anywhere else any time soon, if ever.

I don't think you could ever put 'Bama at 1 in terms of stability, God knows it'll only take 1 bad season at 'Bama and the Tide fans will be calling for Saban's head. Not to mention Saban does have a reputation of bolting out of nowhere. No I do not believe he will or is thinking or planning to do so anytime in the near future, but he has had the history of doing so.

this is very, very misguided belief on the grounds that we -love- football... we love being champions of football. we know we have a championship coach because we know football. we have a way of idolizing our coaches btw... i don't know if you've heard anything about the Bear... but look him up, his name is PAUL "Bear" Bryant. we are fairly fond of his memory.

but times have changed. it's been 2 decades. we need to see some more championships.. we got the right guy.

if Saban keeps playing his cards as he has, we will never want to let him go.

Good points. Saban has never been consistent. I'm actually surprised at how good Bama is this year.

Saban never had back-to-back double digit win seasons at LSU or Michigan St.

First as a long long time Bama fan Most Fans would not be calling for Saban's head if say he lost 3 or 4 games.

Yea we're spoiled like LSU and Gaytor Fans as well. But we were sunk in below average status for many years before Saban arrived.

We're just excited we've become a possible winner of the NC if we win out. This was un-thinkable before Saban arrived from 1992 until he arrived.
