What is yalls opinion on Saban's "No Buyout" clause in his contract? I'd love to see the meltdown in gumptown if he leaves. Especially if he ends up back at LSU.

This has been discussed to death here and nobodies mind is ever changed but my opinion is that a buyout would not keep him from leaving if he wanted to and if a school really wanted him.

I think his current contract is structured in such a way as to be better than a buyout. The fact that he gets SIGNIFICANT bonuses the longer he stays seems to be a more effective mean of keeping him put. Like others have said if a school wants him bad enough they will pay his buyout, but are they willing to pay him DIRECTLY all the money he would give up in potential bonuses?
