Not playing with any heart, intensity, passion.

They have seemed very flat and just seem to be going through the motions, like they are doing just enough to win, but not trying to dominate.

My thoughts exactly. It has been somewhat of a trend under Miles. The good thing is that the same history that shows us flat against lower end teams also shows that we play up to the competition. For some reason, I think we see a different team against UGA.

Pretty much sums up the attitude of our coach.. which trickles down to the players.

yes. id rather have a coach who is a perfectionist. the team is sloppy in all aspects. inconsistent, unorganized. this hasnt only been this year either. not to mention terrible playcalling which is a whole other issue.

I think their problem is in the trenches. The OL has not been getting the push that they should in the run game and the DL isn't getting enough pressure on the QB.

I expect their OL to improve because they have too much talent. I'm not sure if their DL and LBs will step up enough to make them a legit contender.

They have the personality of their coach. I have known some good people, probably good coaches that were just too nice to be head coaches (Rocky Felker and Steve Sloan come to mind). LSU needs some in your face, sit your arse out and watch this from the sidelines type coaches. No fire, no passion, no consequences for lack of discipline. Way too much talent on this team to have to the lackluster performances week in and week out - going back several years (I know, I know your two loss team won a NC).

hey man, shut the hell up. you have just revealed our double secret plan. we have adopted an old psychological ploy; get your opponenents to underestimate you, then kick 'em in the balls. ya'll, all of ya'll better protect your balls.

Great opinion natider. I think lsu hasn't been playing with passion and intensity. It was like that last year too until they faced uga, florida, auburn, and bama. Especially against bama. Some teams get excited when they face ranked teams with similar talent. Lsu didn't care about the miss state game, did you see them getting ready to take the field, no excitement or jumping around. Same could be said for the lsu sideline a chad Jones took the punt back for a td. I counted 5 lsu players jumping up and down on that return. If I don't see any excitement this weekend at uga, revoke their schollys and give me some players want to play. Those are the ones that can beat anyone on any day despite talent. Look at 2008 ole miss, always jumping up and down. Its about the hunger

There are a number of problems, but one underlining problem we fail to talk about is LSU isn't closing the door on opponents. Far too often this year LSU is kicking field goals (and not getting tds) therefore keeping the opponent in the game.

RED ZONE OFFENSE is a big issue.

another problem is that we suck this year, and last. Our coach is mule headed and wont change up his schemes. If you want to know where we're running the ball, just watch for the hopping tight end.
