He spent the night as a precaution, they recommend that you don't fly. Also, they ran every possible test that can be run. They wanted to observe him. I would have too.
They said there were fans coming in and out all night, some even requesting to go back and praywith him.

For a mild concussion they would have observed him in the ER or a normal hospital bed at most. You dont put someone in the ICU and take up an ICU bed to observe a mild concussion no matter who you are.
I truly hope and pray the kid fully recovers rapidly. Just saying my experiences with concussions do not agree with putting a mild concussion patient in the ICU.
