I don't buy this whole thing. The guy has pretty much played well whether someone made fun of him or pissed him off. So you can't really correlate the fact that he plays well to how much he was pissed off.

Tebow plays best when he plays with emotion. A lot of times Tebow will play alright early in games until he gets fired up hitting someone or something. There's definitely a correlation between him being angry and playing well.
For examples, players that have called him out like Ricky Jean and Geno Hayes, he definitely fed off of that.
