being so negative about your team? You won on the road. It might not have been as flashy as you would like but the game was never in doubt. What gives?

because the D looked like last year and could not tackle. offense was ok except for the constant running up the middle as usual. have to wait until next game to see if its gonna be a trend. who knows, UW might be decent this year.

Most LSU fans on here expect to win by 50 every game and if they dont then the starters need to be benched and the coaches fired.

You can tell you are new to this website. You should have been here last year, they wanted to fire Less.

if we had beaten east illinois state 52-0 the same ones complaining would be pounding their chests on how great the defense looked

LSU has always been defensive about Miles. Now that he's not winning NCs and going to BCS bowls we begin to turn and embrace the underlying thought that maybe he was just a bumbling lucky idiot the whole time.

Quintoris - that is Julio's real name. - Good question though.

These same people that are being negative are the ones the think if they donned the equipment they would do better on the field. They really have no idea about football...just think they do.

Washington had an entirely new system with a stud QB. It was a pretty hard to gameplan without knowing any tendencies of the Offense or Defense.

Great thing is we ran a pretty vanilla game plan and no one got hurt!

Happy with the win

Little disappointed with the tackling. Def looked like they were in the right places. Not impressed with D-line but Josh Downs looked really good.

Who knows....maybe Washington wil win a few games this year? Locker and Polk looked good.

On offense....I was satisfied but I don't think we even saw 10% of our offense so far. I'm hoping (as well as the coaches IMO) that we don't have to show any offensive flash until SEC play starts....possibly not until the UGA game.

To all you haters.....relax. Defensive schemes can't be completely installed over night.

Alabama= Delusionally self- important.
LSU= Delusionally masochistic.

Equally sick.
In opposite fashion.

Coming from a Bama fan, the LSU fans thank you for being optimistic. I thought I would be the messenger boy.

Homolojones. Don't worry about it. We'll say what the hell we want to about our team and coach.. Kind of like the meltdowns from the gumps after ULM and Utah. Worry about your own team.

Because MOST of them are mentally challenged. Give them a braek.

Part of the reason there's negativity is that ever since Saban came into town there's been the expectation that the D will be a wall that's exciting to watch, and that the O will do reasonably well.

Last night the D gave up several sustained drives, which is troubling, and line play has a lot to do with that. The O did all right though, especially given the number of snaps they had.
