i honestly think Nutt has changed as a coach. I don't know if it's the loss of pressure because he's not at his admitted 'dream job', or because he's not under Broyles, but I think he's giving room for his coordinators to do work. You'll see better QB development at UM than you ever saw at UA (which was none)

Who the hell doesn't already know Snead?

I'm still not convinced that he has the intangibles that makes a great QB. He is pretty mechanical and his feel for the game looked questionable at times.

But they lost to freakin' Vanderbilt mostly bc of him, and the statistics in all the other games don't lie. I saw him throwing balls over his WRs head the whole first half against Auburn, for example.
Did you watch any games in the second half of the season? You probably think Vandy went on to win the BCS championship.
He struggled early against Auburn, but still went 15-30 and didn't lose the game for them.
Snead was a 1st year starter and struggled early, but he got much stronger in the second half of the season.

It's easy to find the people who actually know what they are talking about on this board.
That being said, Jevan is a little bit overrated, imo.
I don't think he works hard enough to be accurate.
Thing is, If he completes 55% of his passes and doesn't throw any picks we are pretty much going to beat everybody on the schedule except maybe Bama, LSU, and Arky.

I got complete faith that Nutt will strict him to power run and wildrebel plays so much that when he does throw it will be ineffective.
Kent Austin disagrees.

Snead is all we've heard about, all pre-season. Now it's time for him to prove it on the field.

Fixed. Jevan HAS proven it on the field. Ask LSU or Texas Tech.

So I guess all those workouts and 7 on 7's he led this past summer dont mean dick. I'll give you a pass on this one b/c you wrote it at 1:00 in the morning and were probably blitzkrieged.

Time for both to prove it. Lets see if the live up to their hype.

Snead, and Ole Miss really, is overrated

Maybe, but I think the season should begin before we start claiming teams are overrated.
There will always be Clemson '08 teams, but to say a team is overrated before the season begins is unfair.
My pick is Va. Tech for being the most overrated team this year.
