In the end, Mitch could not hold up HIS end of the bargain relative to showing just how good he is and can be. He "allowed" a kid with one week of USC experience to pass him on the DC back in the spring. One week. He's done. Nutt is gone. Beck/Hogwatch is quiet.

Mitch knew where he was going. He made an informed decision thinking he could not only play but start (over Sanchez). That's not Sao's POV, that is HIS POV. He crapped the bed. Simple as that.
Truthfully, he has nothing to prove to me at all. I don't care if he ever plays a down out there simply because my Hog Livelihood and Pride don't hinge on it. So many more wanted to see him win a Heisman at USC simply to wave it in the face of Dooshtooth Nutt.
So if he didn't get it done while knowing what he faced, that's on him. It's not on me nor my words on a message board. Kudos to him for trying. Kudos to me for not letting it affect the joy for me of what is going on in Fayetteville without him.
