Why we will be improved on offense (in no particular order):
1. Offensive Assistants on the same page. Unlike 2008, the OC and assistants are all working together.
2. Improved OL. The offensive line will be bigger and stronger. There's a core group of four juniors and a senior... and Grimes (OL coach) has a strong "spread" background.
3. Improved WRs. Trooper Taylor is putting together a solid unit while infusing the freshman with the returning upper classmen.
4. Gus Malzahn. Our play-calling will improve, the in-game adjustments will improve, and his system better fits our current personnel.
5. Chris Todd's health. His arm-strength should be better than last year. He has the experience in spread offenses.
I don't think top 60 is out of the question, and to be honest..... at this point, the defense worries me more than the offense.
