The term "cupcake schedule" should never be used to describe any SEC teams schedule. If Florida makes it to the BCSCG again this year, they will have fully earned the right to be there. Playing a "weak" non-conference schedule in no way makes it a "cupcake" schedule.

You can be an SEC homer all you want, but it is fairly easy to see that Florida plays apretty easy SEC schedule. 2 ranked teams, and playing LSU after a bye week.

September 19 Tennessee
September 26 at Kentucky
October 10 at LSU
October 17 Arkansas
October 24 at Mississippi State
October 31 vs. Georgia*
November 7 Vanderbilt
November 14 at South Carolina

As far as their SEC schedule goes, it is rather favorable. But making it out of the SEC any year with 1 loss or fewer is quite an accomplishment. Put Ohio State or Southern Cal in the SEC, they would never go undefeated. That's not being a homer, that's just a fact. It's tougher competition week in and week out.

We also get LSU not only after our bye week, but right after they've played UGA. Hopefully UGA can soften 'em up a bit before we face em.
