I don't see what's so great about Bama's uniforms. Yeah, the number on the helmet is classic, but color scheme is just

Some people just like the old fashioned style better. I'm that way. I can't stand the newer styles some teams are going to. It may be age depenedent too. Younger people tend to like the newer type color schemes and older people like the more traditional unis.

I think that's the point....well, not boring, but "classic" looking and traditional. Purple and Gold would not qualify for this.....although I'd have voted LSU much higher if they would still have their old color scheme and helmets from before...they are the best ever IMO.
