the SEC is the next step to the NFL. The SEC has the most players drafted every year. The SEC is the quadrant of the country that produces the most talent.

It's hard to answer your last question about Purdue based on location and year.

My point about Purdue is that if you average their 20 year homegrown NFL talent, guys that grow up wanting to play for Purdue, like Dmac, or Jamaal Anderson, I think if they played in a bowl game or nonconference game each year alternating home sites since 1970 and both teams had a great coach , Purdue would win about 65% .
