Oh, Alabama fans aren’t going to be happy about this one.

But as many Tennessee fans have emailed me over the weekend, there’s a new all-time winningest team SEC football history… and the crown changed hands in the off-season of all times.

With Alabama’s forced vacation of 21 wins between 2005 and 2007, Bama has now fallen into second place all-time in the SEC in wins and in winning percentage. (That’s overall wins, not just conference wins and losses.)

Since it was Tennessee fans who alerted me to this statistical flip-flop, I think you can guess which school grabbed the top spot.

So, as of today, here are your all-time standings in the Southeastern Conference by winning percentage… with all-time each school’s all-time W-L-T record listed to the right.

You're a little late on this topic, chief.

Saw this yesterday but I hadn't realized that South Carolina went over .500 now. Miss. State is the only program under that in the SEC.

Nothing satisfies a Vol quite as much as taking any vacated, forfeited, or rained out game that they can...

Sort of like the year they voted to strip UF of the SEC title because of sanctions so they could grab a share of it.

Not only are you late on the topic, you're completely wrong, just like the author - who had to go back and correct himself.
