Travis Ford would have to be a letdown from that group. No way Kentucky fires Gillepsie to hire Travis Ford.

Agreed. Kentucky needs a big-name coach with a proven track record.

As far as the Keightly thing mentioned I think it's horse shite. He didn't even get to know him like Pitino or Tubby personally and build a real relationship. it was a blow to UK to lose him, but I don't buy that it impacted Billy. Billy was a dick to the media, fans, and made his own bed.
There is a minority outcry to get one of the beloved players that "get it" into the coaches seat. Travis is a dick and he was a dick when he played at UK.

didnt Patterson and Stevenson say something a couple of weeks ago on the radio, to the effect that if Gillespie was going to be retained, taht they would go pro?
