I was just listening to talk radio here in Nashville and there is a lot of talk about Billy Gillispie jumping nude into a hotel swimming pool and roaming the bars. Are there any UK fans on this board that can give some facts about what is going on up in Lexington regarding Gillispie?
I know the Tigerdroppings SEC rant is the place to get the real facts, right?

The rumors about Billy Gillispie being a raging drunk have been going around the internet every since he arrived at Kentucky

Good thing for him that about 100% of all hotel pools in Lexington are indoors. That would be a heck of a buzzkill otherwise this time of year.

The said rumor is false. I personally know the owners of the establishment in question along with several of the staff. No such incident has happened. There are also rumors of several drunk driving stops and even talk that the UK hired a cop to drive him. Every time that I have seen him out in Lexington he was drinking water or sweet tea. Nothing more or nothing less. I'm not saying the guy doesn't drink but he isn't stupid. BTW this rumor started about a week after he was hired. It ran around Lexington like it was fact for weeks. Now it just pops up every now and then.

That's what's funny.....when we are winning it isn't even brought up but we lose two in a row and then it starts again..

The "Inn" incident did not happen...but it is known with the "inner circles" that he had a rough night in the establishment across the street. A high ranking authority was called to deal with the so called incident...he was driven home and was called into the principals office the next day...where he was warned with a wrist slap...
Let's just say, he learned Lexington is not College Station and has been on good behavior ever since.

That's right Mike.....the said pool incident was false, and was supposedly at the Inn. That was the incident I was speaking of. Now the one at the Steakhouse across the street, I can not speak to it because I have no first hand knowledge of it.
