SLC, I agree with most everything you've said here. The only point I would have any contention with is the above. Kent Austin did a great job with Snead from the beginning of the season til the end, and I expect that Kent will work well with Cotton (and Nathan Stanley) as well. I think an OC like Austin that is both creative and has no agenda will help QBs succeed under Nutt where they have failed (or he has failed them) in the past.

It reminds me of the Stoerner situation in Nutt's tenure at AR.

If we could PM here I would share how Hootie successfully ran off QB Coach Joe Furgeson.

We'll have to see if Hootie can keep Kent Austin and whether a QB can be brought into the program and developed.

Remember, Tarvaris Jackson (TJ) never saw the field while Matt Jones was here. TJ plays QB in the NFL, Jones plays receiver.
