ole miss could be a decent job, and i think they learned their lesson with cutcliff, tubbs, etc.

How exactly did we learn our lesson with Tuberville??? He left Ole Miss and in a shady way. We did fire Cutcliff but that was because he recruited Eli and thought he had the team qb problem solved for years. He deserved to be fired. Also with Eli at qb he had 3 offensive plays he ran. The one year we made a run at it Eli was changing the plays at the line of scrimmage. He had no vision for the future of the program and after a sit down with Pete Boone (athletic director) he was relieved of his duties. The bad hire we had was Orgeron. While he did recruit he cause internal problems on the team and kept controversy stirred up. Great defensive coach but not head coaching material. Nutt fits Ole Miss well.

I completely agree with you. If Nutt doesn't step up the recruiting, there will be a serious slide.

Not going to happen. This was one of the predominant complaints against Nutt at Arkansas.

Please do not take it as a knock on your program, as that is not my intent, but Ole Miss never has and never will have the facilities, funding, or statewide support that Arkansas has. Not going to happen. Ever. Period. End of story.

What is my point? If he can't recruit with what Arkansas has to offer (Petrino's class is currently #14), he will not do it at Ole Miss either. Nutt has always had classes between the high 20's (great year) and low 60's.

Ironically, that's where most of his teams finish ranked. Nutt is a mediocre, ho-hum coach that can inspire but not maintain.

Your eyes will be opened soon enough.
