A nice 0-3 start right out of the gate. Woof.
A team with zero pass rush, half of a secondary, no playmakers on offense, and a turnstile of a right tackle is going 6-11 at best vs this schedule.

We went 7-10 with Desmond Ridder at QB
We’re definitely doing better this year with a solid QB. Could easily see us anywhere from 10-7 to 12-5

The opposing QBs on the schedule are infinitely better this season, too. Swap out Sam Howell, Josh Dobbs, Kyler Murray (in his first game back from ACL surgery), and Will Levis with Patrick Mahomes, Dak Prescott, Jalen Hurts, and Justin Herbert.
The defense will be worse this season. The pass rush still blows and the secondary outside of Bates and occasionally Terrell is still atrocious. Last year's defense was not nearly as good as their ranking because the QBs they played against were so bad.
It seems like Raheem Morris is counting on 31 year old Grady Jarrett coming off an ACL injury to suddenly morph into prime Aaron Donald.

They are losing like 10 games. Probably starting 1-5

Went game by game and thought of each in a bottle battle. I think the bye week late helps ATL finish the season strong. Foresee an 11 game W season but if the bye week doesn't help OR Cousins dies, who the F knows.

I legitimately think 7-10 with that schedule.

I agree with this except trade a loss to the Saints to someone. They’re so bad that I don’t see a way Falcons lose to them, rivalry or not.

I generally always count that as a 1-1 split with the saints yearly. Usually give the home team the W.

Brutal Start.
First 4 weeks will tell us everything.
Escape 2-2 or better, buckle up for a great year.
1-3 or worse.
fricked. .500 at best.

Somehow the national media is expecting the Falcons to be a playoff team this season all based on Kirk Cousins. Well that and maybe a bad NFC South. I just don't see how this team gets more than 9 wins with that starting schedule.

You changed your mind awfully quickly
I think it'll be very difficult to overcome a likely 1-4 start. A lot of people seem to be counting Pittsburgh as an automatic win for some reason. The Steelers are leaps and bounds better than the Falcons on both lines of scrimmage. TJ Watt is going to treat Kaleb McGary like a turnstile.

8-9 sounds about right. This still isn't a very good team, and they're going to see significantly better opposing QBs this season than they did last season. Lack of pass rush and absolutely nothing in the secondary outside of Bates and sometimes Terrell will be this team's downfall.

I still go back and forth. When I look at each game individually, I could see em doing well. However, I then factor in God-like scenarios such as "we're the Falcons" and then I see Kirk Cousins doing something like getting malaria from an in game water bottle and missing 6 weeks.
Watch that shite happen - cause - we're the Falcons.
