Top 10-15 are probably all interchangeable. I think NIL has made this less important.

Honestly ... I've been to all of them and toured some of them and imho A&M's football facilities are the best I've seen in person and that not only includes all the SEC schools but Michigan and the suckeyes as well.

I've got some UTa relatives who swear theirs are the finest, but they're not. They're definitely Top 5 though.

I personally am jealous of Bama's football facilities, the PBB facilities, the entire experience.

This along with their fanbase, Its head scratching why the Gamecocks arent better than they are.

Poor leadership. We’ve either had a bad AD, a bad University President, or both for decades now. Pastides and Tanner were a horrible combination for our athletics as a whole. Pastides really rubbed a lot of South Carolinians the wrong way by prioritizing out of state students, particularly those from the Northeast. They have no deep ties or connections to the university, they don’t care for athletics and they don’t really stay connected to the university once they leave but he didn’t care because he wanted those out of state tuition dollars and he wanted the out of state praise and recognition.

Simple answer is "politics." We, as the Flagship University, are governed by a state politico that includes sheep humping sister banging senators and reps in the house .... and the occasional taterhead governor like Trikki Nikki Haley who immediately fired our richest BOT in Darla Moore. Whereas, the sheep humping sister bangers have no influence from any Gamecock appointed BOTs. Does that make any sense? It started with Pitchfork Ben Tillman. BTW ... did you notice where the sister bangers are ranked on this list? #5 ETA: We also beat the sister bangers 5 yrs in a row while winning 51 games that included three straight 11 win seasons under SOS and a couple of Top 5 finishes .... but because of SEC we didn't even make the Championship Bowl Series .... while the sister bangers still got the big bowl births via the ACC. They finished behind us but got the better bowls every year. It's just how the cookie crumbles for our Gamecocks. We continue to endeavor ... we are relentless. BTW, all of our facilities are Top 10 .... football, basketball, baseball, softball, track & field, tennis, golf, beach volleyball, you name it. Money, support, facilities have never been an issue.

I have always liked USC, have many friends who are supporters. Strongly dislike Clemson and their people. But, man, I don’t know about all of this. At some point you’re gonna have to stop blaming Clemson for all your problems.

Aggies and Cocks both in the top 10 but 0 SEC championships? You both need refunds.

It must still really burn you that your undefeated team was left out of the playoffs last year.

I’m not going to complain because Mizzou’s facilities were probably ranked in the 50s a decade ago but are catching up quickly. The facilities side are already elite, the $250 million to enclose the north end zone should get the stadium where it needs to be and pull Mizzou right in line with the bulk of the SEC in the football arms race.

The SEC has saved you from complete ilrelevancy. As one of the founding members of this conference, you are welcome.

Yeah. That surprised me, but I have never visited your stadium. Good for you guys!

I think its based on facilities like weight room, practice facilities, locker room and less about the stadium itself. We have poured a ton of $$ into facilities in the last 15 years

sorry as a student 2010-2015, and one from SC, we loved Pastides. The guy just cared about the university as a whole. Also out of state students were upset that he prioritized in state students by keeping standards and tuition lower to maintain commitment to being the flagship university. Him and Eric Hyman were great for the athletic department and its probably the reason we were at our best all around in the 2012 time period.

Tanner has obviously struggled as AD, but I don't blame Pastides at all.

He writes a little dramatic but isnt far off. Our BOT is set up very politically. People shouldn't get seats on a board of trustees because they won a political election, but that is how they SC does it to be the flagship school.

Nikki Haley did kick Darla Moore off the board (our biggest donor to the school). Nikki can kick rocks, she would be a fricking awful president, just like she was an awful governor.

A&M has put so much into facilities, and the plans were in place before NIL. But NIL is just as important or more these days. Apparently we are about to dump 80M into upgrading baseball, which is much needed.

Meh. All renovated facilties are super nice these days. Most recruits and transfers are like, "Ya'll's cribs are cool and all, but I need NIL cash and I need to start. Muh Fam need to eat and I need to get to the League."

Yeah, because all black players speak like gang members. And white players demand NIL just as much as black ones. Guess you missed the pics of Carson with his Lamborghini.

I'm interested to know what line of business you're in that provided access/clearance to tour so many athletic facilities? Do you work for Nike?

A couple years ago, Ole Miss had plans to tear down the West side of the stadium and rebuild it, but Lane asked the administration to not do so, and instead, he asked that any donor money go towards the NIL instead. The renderings of what would have been built were pretty slick looking. However, it would have also meant that one side of the stadium would not be open during an entire season - which would have been really weird.

The Operations building is what draws recruits…that and whatever the dining situation is.

I’m going to go out on a limb, and completely without seeing it, and say no fricking way Alabama’s Ops facility is better than Georgia’s.

Carson did not demand NIL. It was given to him for his hard work, competing against other 5 stars and waiting his turn

Alabama's football training facilities are superior to Georgia's. Look it up
