If I'm being honest, BK's NY6 bowl record doesn't really concern me, he got a bad draw most of the time.
2008 Orange Bowl was Virginia Tech vs Cincinnati, Cincinnati had never even won 10 games in a season prior to BK and he had them in the Orange Bowl in his second season.
2012 National Championship was basically peak Saban and Alabama, Notre Dame didn't have a fraction of the talent that Alabama did.
2016 Fiesta Bowl was Notre Dame vs Ohio State, basically the only matchup that he arguably "had a chance" in. So maybe a strike here for the loss.
2018 Cotton Bowl was a playoff game vs Clemson. No one beat Clemson that year and they went on to beat Alabama just as bad as they did Notre Dame.
2020 Rose Bowl was another playoff game vs Alabama, another team that went undefeated and won the natty. Arguably the most dominant Alabama team in their history.
