MSU fans, D Russell is alleged to be going to prison for what he allegedly did

The story as told to me is that some guy spilled a drink on him. Russell left the place and waited for him to come out and then followed him to a bar. Waited for him to come out and then beat him to the point of brain bleed and he had to be air lifted.
I used alleged because I wasn't there and he has not been found guilty of anything yet. Supposedly it was on video.
This isn't a "laugh at MSU", but a "What will this new staff do until court".

I must have missed this. A player for MS State beat someone up that it causes a brain bleed?

It appears to be the case.

My fellow MSU fans always shite on me for saying this.
But MSU should cut bait with this moron. He is not of high character. Any athletic skills that he may possess do not outweigh that.

Wow, I started a thread about this and did not see you had already started one. I apologize. Prayers for all involved.

If true, he should go to prison. I don’t know why there would be any controversy on that view. Football is so unimportant

Well thats an all around awful situation.

If more fans demanded this, the sports at the college level would be better.
But it's not just a MSU problem.

Why, so he can transfer to Bama?

I don't bother learning names anymore with the transfer portal so I don't know this guy. But, if true and is found guilty he should get appropriate jail time for what he is convicted of.

This is from last April. Seems like he's on the wrong path.

If this is true, he's not transferring anywhere but to prison. This kid is in serious trouble.

Didn’t he get into a fight with a Tulsa player a few years back at the end of the game?

yes, and he wasn't even dressed out for the game

Being from Jackson, he might not even realize it is wrong to beat someone into a coma.

I was out there, that boy was provoking the football players and none of them did anything and then the boy poured a drink on him (that’s assault as well) and D Russell hit him twice and the boy hit his head on the curb leading to the brain bleed. He provoked them multiple times out of the night and i’m not saying he should have been punched (again only twice) but the boy should have left them alone. he provoked that fight and now his family is painting him as a victim.
