At 168, my brain tells me Canelo is too big and will walk Crawford down in the 2nd half of the fight and possibly take him out to the body.

But damn Crawford is so fast and athletic, he might be able to stay away for 12 rounds and just outpoint and frustrate Canelo.

Eta: Betonline has Canelo opening up at -240, Bud Crawford at +190.

I was thinking he was aiming for Benavidez in September, that would be a dynamite fight

Bud beats him like Mayweather did, too skilled/quick/intelligent in the ring

Canelo has fought at 168+ and Bud hasn’t fought above 147. Not a recipe for success for Bud.

Crawford is a great fighter, but to go that high is just like Canelo going into the Light Heavyweight division to take on Bivol. Just too big and powerful.

Bud is a slick fighter and the way he destroyed Spence was very impressive. I gave the nod to Bud before the fight, but never thought he'd do what he did to Errol Spence-----and made it look easy.

Any reach or height advantage Bud will have is not an issue for Canelo since just about every fighter he's met for the past few years have been taller and had a longer reach than he has.

I say there's a good chance Canelo stops Bud late after beating his ribs in for several rounds.

Would love to see this fight. I respect Canelo but think he’s a tad overrated. He definitely got beat by ggg
