That's part of the joke. For all the love people give Peyton, he wasn't the one that gave them the NC and nobody knows who the frick Tee Martin is. Always the footnote at Tennessee.
I don't get hung up on what state recruits are from or whatever. But if you want to brag it took a kid from Alabama to get Tennessee over the hump, be my guest.

frick that Joe Moore award, it's shite. It wasn't until the 9th game of the season that the offensive line started playing ok. Up until then, one pre-snap penalty after another and a whole lotta run stopping behind the line of scrimmage.

George Teague running Lamar "The Mouth" Thomas down and then took the ball from him from behind as they were running. Man, I disliked that Miami program.
