They can generate enough interest and income to exist. It just won’t be at big boy level. That’s what college football should be, not a money war. That’s why we are in the shape we’re in today, people aren’t bragging about their teams but how much money their conference is giving shitty teams.
If a league comes up that wants to return to what college football should be I’m all for it. Screw this current buy a team crap….

I don't think they can. I don't like it, but it's where we are.
Every one of those G5 teams needs at minimum a 3 game out of conference schedule with a P5 payout rent-a-wins to exist as any kind of athletic program.
That's just how it is.
