Seems pretty clear who the top 3 or 4 suspects are....
Georgia has played:
#1TAMU, #3 TENN, #8 UK, #15 MSST on the road
And
#23 ALA, unranked MIZ, unranked OM at home
I think you’re gonna have to use just a little more critical thinking…

Schloss didn't talk on it as if it's a rumor. He spoke on it as if they've already been busted. It's just not "out there" yet, for some reason. This should be plastered everywhere if it's true.

If it was us we are a bunch of morons. We should be cheating on the mound, because this is where we suck the most.
Hell, I'll pay for the spider shite myself.
Georgia, y'all got that phone number?

Using “rumor” in this sense because it’s not been made public knowledge yet. But, yes, it’s apparently common knowledge within the league for a few weeks that this has been going on and Schloss speaking to it was less to do with establishing A&M as a victim and moreso pointing out that in addition to what you’re seeing with pitchers using substances, there’s also been this other thing going on

You'll learn in due time.
here are State's stats in SEC play..
.264 overall
.225 on the road
.317 at home
.092 difference
What does this prove other than having a home field advantage?

This can’t be true, Arkansas fans swear that this is completely fabricated

I’d like to ask a point of clarification on Schloss’s comments:
When he says “live video feed,” is he saying that a home team is spying on the visiting team’s dugout?

Arkansas fans aren’t saying this at all. What they are saying, is that it’s not Arkansas doing the cheating.

Oh look, an Aggie to muck up a thread involving decent discussion between other fanbases.

I am curious about this as well. Do they have a guy with a garbage can like the Astros, or are they talking to the batter who has some kind of ear piece and telling them breaking ball or fast ball?

quote:Schloss does a live radio spot with TexAgs twice weekly. He's a good interview, and more candid than the typical coach. The video deal came up in the context of the UGA pitcher incident. Schloss was talking about things that had been discussed by the conference going forward (not specifically in response to the UGA thing), and one of the things he mentioned was video, and how one team (which had much higher home batting average than road) had been busted for having a live video feed in the dugout. There wasn't any indication that it was someone A&M had played (or where, if we had), it was just kind of a big picture conversation about cheating, and the difference between that and old fashion sign stealing.
The timing of his statement is curious to me though..
Why did he say it now?
He knew someone would run with it.. so he purposely leaked it imo.. but why? and why this week?

Schloss said the cheating team had a split like .306 and .206. I did the math.
As of April 6th Arkansas splits were .306 at home and .204 away/neutral.
Schloss also made it sound like it happened a few weeks ago which lines up.
Since then Arkansas splits have changed to .282 at home and .199 away.

It doesn't prove anything.. but when a team hits a lot better at home than they do on the road, it opens the door that they might be cheating.. it looks like a team has been caught.. so the team that was caught likely has much better splits at home..
Either way, no stats will prove anything one way or the other..
Here are the Arkansas stats for the year.

And when he said busted, was it ..."this year" and does busted mean, "Fined, Loss of Schollys, Loss of postseason play or what"... I mean, he probably should have kept his trap shut until it was handled... Unless it was handled internally, and then if so... He probably should have kept his trap shut.
Not sure the commish would be happy with this...

You can't really steal signs anymore, can you? It is electronic and done with the bracelets.

As to ramifications, probably not much will happen to whoever was involved, but I suspect that the umpires will be instructed to make sure that it doesn't happen going forward.

If Arkansas is cheating at home and still can't make Omaha that would be the most DVH thing ever

I’m guessing this is alluding to sign stealing? Just seems like the actual details of the allegation arent being paid enough attention
