When we lost to Florida in 2020 we were ahead 14-0 but our second TD was a disaster. Rosemy Jack-Saint broke his ankle and Stetson Bennett separated his shoulder on that TD play.

It's hard to argue this when you don't win your conference. It's even harder when you're not in the conference championship at all. We're not playing football simulator, the games themselves have to count.

There is nothing to argue. Conference championship doesn't mean shite. If they meant anything, then Alabama wouldn't have gone to the playoffs.

Which years are you referring to? I'll give you 2011, we were way outmatched. 2019 is a tough sell, that LSU team reached another level in the postseason Are you also offsetting that with the 2007 UGA team that missed out??

Has nothing to do with your performance and everything to do with being gifted easy entrances for playing in the east division. The SECCG doesn't put the best 2 teams in the SEC against them, if it did, the majority of your appearances wouldn't exist.

That’s just not true at all. 2002, 2003, 2005, 2012, 2017, 2018, 2021, 2022, 2023…in all those years UGA was one for the top 2 teams. 2011, 2019 are the only two times we weren’t.

When was Alabama's last NATIONAL CHAMPIONSHIP?

Absolutely nobody thinks of Alabama as being the spoiler except stupid Georgia fans.

Alabama has as many NC in the past 10 years as Georgia does in it's entire history.

Your entire ego is based on future expectations, not what you've actually done because you literally have no fricking clue how to act to having success.

I'm not going over each year, but in 2017 you were 3rd best in the SEC at the time of the SECCG. Both Alabama and Georgia had the same loss, but Georgia got blown out in their loss. Georgia was gifted the appearance because it played in the easy division.

That makes 3 out your last 8 appearances being gifted.

You benefitted from a beat up AU team that had just played UGA. So it’s arguable at best.

Even if I grant you that arguable point it’s 3 out of our 11 appearances. You claimed it was the majority..now you don’t feel like going over each year…

Go ahead, define "best" in an objective manner...

Auburn played La-Monroe the week before Alabama.

My bad, only 37.5% of the time in recent history, 33% of the time under Kirby Smart and 27% all time.

And even then it's still mostly because you played easy team in the East while West teams had 3 to 5 teams ranked.

Don't have to.

No, it's a matter of what the actual playoffs stated goal was which was highlighted by the fact they included teams that didn't win their conference and didn't include teams that did.

UGA played 3 or more ranked SEC teams before the SECC in:

2023
2021
2019
2018
2005
2003
2002

Bama did it in:

2009
2012
2014
2015
2016
2018
2021
2023

Looks fairly even.

Also, I’m not sure you are thinking this through. If UGA didn’t belong in all those SECC against Bama, wouldn’t that mean Bama was kindof gifted the SEC Title?

2 East, 1 West, not bad, 2 actually in the top 10.

I only see 2. #20 Arkansas and #15 Kentucky.

2019

I only see 2. #6 Florida and #14 Auburn

2018

Good year.

2 East ranked #6 and #11. And 1 West ranked #6. (I'm using best rank out of either AP or Coaches is why 2 are ranked 6).

quote:

2005

Only 2. #12 Florida and #14 Auburn

quote:

2003

3 is correct, #1 LSU, #15 Tennessee, #24 Florida

quote:

2002

3 is correct. #11 Alabama, #14 Auburn, #24 Florida

So really, only 4 years.

And in total here, there are 8 SEC West Teams and 10 SEC East teams, and that's despite you only playing 2 West teams a year. Meaning, Alabama played 41% of these same teams that year, and that was only 2 games max out of their schedule.

Bama had beat GA in the most important games, except a few.

These two teams are leaders in the future. Against some of the best in another league that thinks they are about to take over. It is up to them and others to rectify or curb those guys aspirations. A shine that can, needs to. But in the short term, GA and Bama are the anchors to our league.

Right now. JS

IOW, FK TX and OU.

That is who thinks that’s about to take over this league.

Really, fk fighting amongst each other. We know who we are.

We have new folks coming in that ABSOLUTELY think they are are either taking over or right next to it.

I disagree. And been vocal about it.

Fk those guys.

Texas is hoping to. If not, OU in the SECCG.

Both think they will.
